MANON MAGNET

Manon Magnet was born and raised by a Jamaican mother and an Austrian father in Koblenz, Germany. From a young age, she was interested in the performing arts practising mainly her vocal skills.

After graduating, she pursued a carrier as a professional singer. She was cast for a Girl-Group and signed to a major record label.
 

Being in front of the camera, she had an urge to find out how things run behind the scenes. To get an insight into media like video, photography, web media and marketing she studied Communications design. After her bachelor, she got cast for a TVshow on MTV, presenting the world's best young media designers.

She has gained a substantial perspective of the contemporary world of entertainment. Her passion for acting was nurtured by these experiences as well as experimenting with her creativity in acting classes.

Currently based in Berlin, she has completed a one-year acting training in Screen Acting at the international Institute for Art and Technology - Catalyst Berlin. Since turning to acting, she has starred in numerous short films over the past 2 years. Her strengths as an actress lie in imagination, collaboration, and the art of listening.
